I have done that over night flight from Europe to Buenos Aries before, but forgot how long it actual feels. Your never sure how long or how much sleep you just had and it's definitely not a good deep sleep that refreshes you. There was lots of terbulance to jolt you back awake. Anyway, at least we are heading to Argentina on time. What's next on my check list of doom? Get through passport control, customs and hopefully find a man holding a sign with my name on it. There's no reason why I should have a problem with passport control but it's just today's hoops that need clearing. Doing the bit with the man in his booth turns out to be OK, it's just the queue to see him takes nearly two hours! Oh well that's what we British do well. The sniffer dog in customs has a good sniff of my bag, it's probably that our dog Bonnie spent a lot of time sticking her nose in my bags before I left and probably left her scent on it, thanks for that Bonnie. At least this time I remembered not fuss the sniffer dog up. I once arrived from a flight all tired, saw the sniffer dog and thought oh there's a nice dog I wonder why they have a dog here! I did say I was tired.
Anyway 2 hours after landing, I had cleared passport control, found my luggage (always a bonus), got through customs and after a couple of laps around arrivals managed to find the man holding a sign with my name on it.
Daniel, the man holding the sign with my name on it, has a nice pack for me with all the information I need for tomorrows hoops. The car will pick me up a 6:20 in the morning to take me to the airport for tomorrows flight to Ushuaia. You see I'm on the right continent for the ship, only I need to be at the very bottom of it.
Arrived at the hotel around noon, just time for a shower and then a few of the city sights.
